Updating Email Addresses in EXDB

This module is focused on Updating Emails Addresses for companies and individuals and repeats over and over the importance of preserving emails!

Generally speaking, you can always assume that when a task is to “Update companies” and “Update addresses” that it refers to the Mailing Addresses AND the individuals and all of the Basic Information.

But if the instruction is to “Update Email Addresses,” that will mean to Open the Email Update Window and update addresses there — which includes three different emails — as described in the lesson in this Course/Module on Email Addresses.  The heart of this task is understanding the three types of Email Addresses and Preserving them.

A related task is how you figure out which records need to be updated.  Most of the Time, the Email Addresses will e indicated for needing updates by the Client Email Report.

Most importantly, understand the three types of addresses and how to strategize to preserve them.
