Script Typing into Final Draft (Read description carefully)

Get your script typed FROM any source into Final Draft professional screenwriting software.  Our prices are $3.50 for a standard script for which you send it to us already typed in some format and we will review it, do basic formatting corrections, and type it into Final Draft and do a proofreading where minor corrections are needed.  The service here is for up to 100 pages of to create a Final Draft file from an already typed script that needs minor repair, updates, and corrections!

If your script needs more than that or has more pages, please email us for a quote first!  If you go ahead and order this service, you can reserve your spot for typing, and we will give you a final quote for payment before we start!

The fees for script typing will be increased incrementally for any and each of the following:

• Handwriting that needs to be typed
• Lots of corrections throughout the script
• Very bad grammar that needs to be corrected — this does NOT include dialogue where the characters speak with poor grammar, however if it has a lot of dialect with unusual spellings and lots of apostrophes and very difficult to type dialogue that must be as you typed it, there will be additional fees.
• Incorrect scene headings that need a lot of correction
• Very large blocks of action text that needs to be broken into scenes
• Extensive use of a foreign language
• Any aspect that is done in a very unusal way throughout the script that the writer does not want corrected
• Extensive use of way too many … (ellipses) and — (dashes) and unusual, non-standard grammar and punctuation
• Rush delivery — our standard LONGEST time is 2 to 3 weeks for no additional charge, and depending on our schedule and the difficulty of your script, we may be able to turn it around in 7 to 10 days with no additional charges. As a baseline, 80% of the scripts we are hired to type fall into basic, standard category with nothing unusual and it is usually the $3.50 per page with a $300 minimum for scripts over 75 pages.  Our additional charges can range from 50 cents per page more to $1.50 more.

If you have a PRINTED COPY ONLY — meaning a paper copy only — then you should scan it yourself or get it scanned at Staples and send us a PDF file. Or we can scan it for you ourselves and charge you for that at a lesser price than Staples.
